Video: Outstanding Performance Of Hello From Adele, Jimmy Fallon & The Roots (With Classroom Instruments)

Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight’s show’s official band,  The Roots might be making a habit of doing the classroom rendition of popular songs. Just yesterday, they teamed with Adele to do a performance of her smash single, Hello.  Here’s the kicker though, they did it with classroom instruments only. The breakdown of who played what: 

Adele – vocals, flip phone 

Jimmy Fallon – wood block, huge bass drum, Casio keyboard 

Questlove – hand clappers, orange shaker

 Kamal Gray – xylophone 

James Poyser – melodica 

Captain Kirk – ukulele 

Tuba Gooding Jr. – kazoo, banana shaker 

Mark Kelley – kazoo 

Frank Knuckles – bongos 

 Black Thought — tambourine

Adele’s single, Hello, has racked in over 320 million views on YouTube, and her album, 25, has already hit 2.3 million in sales according to billboard numbers.
