Vardie, 29, tied the knot with longtime girlfriend, Rebekah Nicholson in a magical wedding held in a romantic Cheshire castle in Leicester on Wednesday, May 25; with their 19-month-old daughter Sofia as the flower girl.
The bride, 34, looked stunning as a princess should wearing a Carolina Castigliano ivory gown and a sparking pearl tiara.
In a new interview with Hello Magazine, Vardy confessed that he became emotional as he saw his bride and daughter walk down the aisle. "I'd been holding it together so well until that point, but when I saw Sofia's little face as she was walking down towards me, I felt myself starting to go… Then I saw Becky coming towards me and she just looked so incredible, I felt my composure going again. I knew she'd look amazing, but it was more than I could ever have pictured,' he added.
Rebekah on the hand, praised her new husband saying: "I'm so proud of him and of what he's achieved, but most of all, I'm proud of the man he is. He's the most brilliant father and partner and I know he is going to be the best husband I could wish for. He's not one for grand romantic gestures, but I don't need that. He shows his love in the ways that matter, by being there for me and the kids and making me feel loved."
Wedding guests included rapper Tinchy Stryder, Leicester City fan Sergio Pizzorno of rock band Kasabian and Vardy's Leicester City team-mates, who were still celebrating their incredible Premier League win.
One Direction star Louis Tomlinson, who is set to play the footballer in a biopic, was also a guest at the wedding and said playing Jamie in the film about the former non-league striker's rise to fame would be a 'golden opportunity'..
